Splashbacks

Bespoke kitchen splashbacks, in any colour or finish.

Painted, printed, metallic or antique — single panels or full feature walls, finished to a level that lifts the whole kitchen.

Glass Tailors make bespoke kitchen splashbacks across London in six finishes — painted, printed, mirrored, metallic, textured and vintage. All splashbacks are 6mm toughened safety glass, heat-resistant to 200°C and suitable behind gas or induction hobs. We laser-template every job so joints, sockets and hob cut-outs land exactly where they need to.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions.

Can I have any colour splashback?

Yes. We colour-match to RAL, BS 4800, Farrow & Ball, Little Greene, Paint & Paper Library, or supply us a paint sample and we'll match it back-coated to the glass.

Are glass splashbacks heat-resistant?

Yes — 6mm toughened glass is rated to 200°C and is approved for use behind gas and induction hobs without an additional heat shield in standard installations.

Can splashbacks be made in one piece?

We can produce single panels up to 3,210 × 2,250mm. Longer runs are split into matched joints (usually at a hob or corner) for a seamless finished look.

How are splashbacks fitted?

We either silicone-fix directly to a flat plastered wall or use a low-modulus adhesive on tiled or uneven surfaces. Fixings are hidden and there are no visible screws or trims.

How long do splashbacks take?

2–3 weeks from template to install for painted, mirrored and metallic finishes. Printed glass adds about a week for proofing and curing.

Are splashbacks easy to clean?

Yes — there are no grout lines or tile joints, so a soft cloth and standard glass cleaner is all that's needed. The back-coating means the painted face is fully sealed.
