Every Glass Tailors shower starts with an on-site laser survey. We measure to within a millimetre, account for every out-of-square wall, and design each enclosure around the realities of your bathroom.

How thick is the glass in a frameless shower?
We use 10mm toughened safety glass as standard for walk-ins and fixed panels, and 8mm for hinged doors. Larger or taller panels can be specified in 12mm where structural calculations require it.
How long does a bespoke shower enclosure take?
From the survey we typically deliver and install in 3–4 weeks. Shaped enclosures or specialty glass (low-iron, fluted, tinted) can add up to a further week.
Do you survey and install across London?
Yes. We laser-survey, manufacture and install across Greater London and the Home Counties with our own employed teams — no subcontractors.
Can you fit a shower into a sloped or awkward ceiling?
Yes — our shaped enclosures are templated on site, then cut to follow rooflines, beams and out-of-square walls so the glass meets the ceiling tightly without packers.
Is the glass treated to stop watermarks?
All glass can be specified with an easy-clean nano-coating that helps water sheet off and reduces limescale build-up, extending the time between deep cleans.
What does a bespoke shower enclosure cost?
