FAQs
Frequently asked questions.
Can mirrors be made for bathrooms and gyms?
Yes — all our mirrors are silvered with a moisture-resistant lacquer that is fully suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms and gym walls without spotting or de-silvering over time.
What's the biggest single mirror you can make?
Up to 3,210 × 2,250mm as a single piece. Larger walls are split into perfectly-matched panels with hairline joints, usually aligned to ceiling lines or features.
Do you fit antique or aged mirror?
Yes — we offer foxed, distressed and patinated antique mirror in several grades, and can match a sample if you've seen a specific finish elsewhere.
Can you cut holes for sockets, switches or sconces?
Yes. We template every cut-out on site, then water-jet or drill the holes before toughening so the finished mirror sits flush around fittings.
What's the lead time for a bespoke mirror?
2 weeks for standard clear and tinted mirrors. Antique, backlit and bevelled mirrors typically take 3–4 weeks.
How are large mirrors fixed safely?
Heavy mirrors are bonded to a structural backing tape and supported on hidden J-channel at the base, with hidden top clips for additional restraint — no visible fixings.
